the grew well for me up here but i found out that they would have benefitted from a few more week longer season, so i hope perhaps they will work out well for you a bit further south. :)

this past spring when i finally was able to clean up some remaining vines off the fence there were a few pods with beans in them that looked horrible on the outside but inside some of the beans were in good condition - they actually looked better than most i'd harvested last year in the late fall...

early Nonna Agnes all brown. Planting those seeds now, hoping for cooler temps at maturity. Vines growing well. Need to get ladder to extend the strings for climbing it looks like

Attempting to transplant the pole Magpie crosses out of the Magpie patch

Last pic is the regular bush Magpies flowering. None of the pole types it has thrown have started to flower yet IMG_20190715_192401337.jpg

Gorgeous fuchsia!! Flowering from the Ugandan Bantu row. I selected some outcrosses, plus the regular seed coats, from three packets to see what I get. I don't know if this is the regular Ugandan Bantu or its outcross flowering IMG_20190716_191847806.jpg

I'm curious how did that pole bean from the Magpie crosses turn out? Are the plants taking hold?
