Garden Master
Well Mary, I once almost did - there in my Arcata garden.
It would take an experienced and well-traveled horticulturalist to do more than make suggestions and, important, try to draw from information online. I am so happy the internet came along but one of the easiest mistakes to make is to assume that growing conditions are the same from 1 location to another. A 2nd mistake is to assume that tastes are the same . .
Seems that I remember something about a Tigerella tomato, Mary. I do hope that you will have a chance to grow a Momotaro tomato. Not because I have any experience with it but just because I wish I could grow it here and think your interest in it is well-placed. If you or others are able to report your success with any plant, that just makes me aaalll the more willing to throw caution to the winds and try them here, in my hard-scrabble garden .
Steve
who may be losing his 3rd peach, and this time a white one, this year. 3 peach trees in 40 years? i don't know if i can be trusted with another, or a nectarine!
