Somehow, It's Funny that Way

That reminds me of this one

A Roman walks into a bar an says "A martinus, please."
The bartender says "Oh you mean a martini."
"No, if I wanted more than one I would have asked for it."

Or
A German walks into a bar and says "Two glasses of wine, mein herr."
Bartender "Dry?"
"Nein, I only want two."

if you hold up three fingers is it four or six?
If you hold then together, it is three, if you make the Vulcan sign if is either six (first two fingers) or four (second two).

the vulcan sign is four fingers... \\// if i hold up three it looks like \// :) so six... your anatomy may differ. :)

@flowerbug ,

It is difficult to even imagine being able to do more than the simplest math without a zero. I'm not very good with numbers but I've used an abacus. Ha! I don't know what that's supposed to indicate.

Slide rule - yes, learned that but we were already for transistorized calculators altho, I could go into a special room on campus and use one of the calculators bolted to a table. I was using one of those at work at the gas station at the same time. Ka-ching (Go home to the Underwood typewriter, clkty clkty clak binnggg shoop ! ;))
