I am so sorry for your great loss also Sprig.
It's terrible losing a loved one. Your dad was too young.
I lost my mom to pancreatic cancer.
Terrible.

Sorry I haven't been around. My dad got sick earlier this year with pancreatic cancer and in December the cancer finally took his life. It's an incredibly sad thing for many reasons, least of which dying at only 68 years young. I'll plant some trees for him next year :)

Winter growing going strong :)

So sorry about your Dad. I lost my brother to the same miserable disease. At least he was 73. But he still looked like a kid until the sickness. My brother too, was advanced. The doctor said finding it earlier would only mean you knew that you were sick longer. Take care and be well. It never goes away but , you will be able to remember the good times when the pain dulls.

I had some unintended germination last week :/. I had 22 yellow buckeye seeds in a sand and growstone mix in my fridge for stratification but when I went to randomly check on them one day I found that they had ALL germinated.

Well, chances happened to be that I had bought a bag of soil to replant a few other plants but suddenly found myself having to pot up 22 buckeye seeds into 1gal pots, which I had to also locate under feet of snow outside :/

I am happy to announce that since then a bunch have broke soil :)
