Yup. We're dropping the kids off with her sister for the day and the movers will be here at 8:30. The weekend will then be full of obtaining a chicken coop, buying a riding mower and picking up 6 apple trees I had on order

About 20 years ago a friend moved from Cal. to Hawaii. Then he purchased 10 acres of undeveloped land and planted coffee trees. Here come the lava . So check out potential hazards that may befall you and plan for it.

Sprig if you were closer you could come and get all the stuff you wanted for free. all sorts of plants/flowers/groundcovers/etc. we always have way too many.

I have Haralson, Ductchess of Oldenberg, Lodi, Arkansas Black, Annie Elizabeth, Lewis Incomparable, and more that I can't remember right now. I'll put 12 in the ground in the coming week or so

I think 10 acreas is perfect. Not too much to plant and maintain but enough to have all your favorites and for canning. Keep us posted on your endeavors. We want to share the ride with you.
