Caught the female fantail! She's huge compared to the male.

I wonder, though. Are these two Goldeen & Magicarp? If so, they lost all their color.
I could believe that the red n white is one of these, but not the red one, body shape is too different.

love it! they look so healthy and beautiful. :)

next time, please talk to them a little so we can hear your cute talk to the fish voice. :) hahaha... :)

p.s. i rescued one of my fantail goldfish once by using a toothpick to get a small piece of gravel that was stuck in it's throat. the companion fantail wasn't so lucky as i didn't notice what had happened until it had starved to death. i just though it was sick and did not recover. :( i had them about 10yrs and i don't recall what happened to the 2nd one. i think we gave it to someone who had a bigger tank who liked it.

Glad you got a great deal on those two fishes. Were the intial prices $250?

Mary

I don't remember. I didn't take screenshots of the full listings with original listed pricing.

Did a small water change on the 115gal two days ago, doing another larger one today. They'll live in the house for a little while. I'll do another 2k water change on the pond before moving them out there.

They're "out for delivery" now. By end of day.

What does this mean, looks new?

Cleaner water today! And the fish are even more crisp to see. ♡ You can finally see the smaller odd ones I kept to grow out, too.
