My truck should be here at noon. He sent a bill for almost $4,000. I gave him $2500 when he picked up truck. Going to take everything I have to say calm

hope he gives you a detailed list of what took place that warrants that bill. storage should not be one of the items listed on that bill.

Nope no charge for storage. Problem is he has lied to me, so I question things he claims he did and billed for. I am going to have a mechanic check bill against truck, should be able to tell if work was done. He told me truck was inside, while photos show truck outside. Don't know what kind of rust happened in passed year from being outside. As of now still waiting for truck.

I emailed him next Sunday I will be up to see truck. What scares me is he was suppose to send me photos last week and never did. I payed over $3,000 for truck plus gave him $2,500 deposit when he pick up. I believe over $5,000 is a felony. I do have a lawyer client who will handle it for free, just hoping it does not come down to that. Will be 1 year July 4th weekend.

I cannot believe you gave him such a big deposit! We have never given a deposit for any work like that. He took advantage of a nice guy. Spent the money without buying any parts.

Same here Cat. The only big deposit we have ever given was 1/3 up front to pay our house, 1/3 more when it was 2/3'rds done and the last 1/3 when it was finished. We are talking about about much more than to fix a truck.
