It's lonely and it won't win any ribbons at the county fair but it it the first. I'll admit i was surprised to see this today. It will be eaten in a few minutes.

There was a bad spot on the hidden side, something pecked it. I cut it out and ate the rest.

Astounding at the differences in climates. We haven't even planted yet. Soil is too cold still.

i just got some peas in which could have gone in a week or two ago if we'd not had so much rain that made it way too muddy for me to finish what i needed to do in that garden space before i could plant them.

i could go out and dig up some green garlic if i had something to cook or eat with them, but i am likely to just have a ham sammich wif some bean soup and call that good for today.

beautiful day shaping up. have priorities established with Mom. so i'm ready to rumble or at least get dirty.

I'm eating the plum cheese I made for the first time ever this year.
This is plums that have been pulped, stones removed then slowly dehydrated til they set firm and dry. I didnt remove the skins.
I was a little hesitant and left it on the bench where I could keep an eye on it for a few weeks, but nothing grew on it, so had a tiny piece- delish.
