Ginger.
Actually harvested some onions and cilantro from the garden a day or two ago :). That should give you some idea about the warm weather we have been experiencing.

Good looking ginger! I love making fresh ginger tea. If you want to try it, it's easy. I just peel the ginger and slice it and chop up into pea sized pieces. Make about a little less than a fourth cup. Put the ginger in your mug and fill mug with boiling water. Let it steep for around 25:minutes. Enjoy!

A small yield is probably standard for here, @Decoy1 .

The root is purchased from the Asian market in Spring and may be divided between large pots of about 6 gallon size (20 liter). Soil mix is potting soil and plenty of composted chicken manure.

After poor results, I try to use the best that I know of and baby the plants through the growing season with an early start in the greenhouse and back in there when cooler weather shows up. They have some afternoon sun protection outdoors (I think that I gave this one too much of a shady location ;)).

Here is a few years accounting on TEG of the efforts, LINK. And, Wishing You the Best of Luck.

Steve
