The plums we pick are wild plums, they are called Chickasaw plums. We have some started in coffee cans, they are ready to set out now.

If they get real red, they are sweet. They make a tart juice. I mix a quart of juice with a big can of pineapple juice for a refreshing drink.

I dont think we have these sort of plums, the closest would be Christmas plums which are maybe an inch diameter with a sweet but around the stones.
Its really interesting how we all have the same fruit...but they all seem to be different at the same time.
