This semi runner was very productive. Small beans and lots of pods. I got the bean several years ago from my bean friend in Liebenfels, Austria. The bean was planted on the east side of my semi runner plot and I harvested nearly one pound of seed.

"Little Brown Cat" An original bean introduced and named by Robert Lobitz of Paynesville, Minnesota. This bean produced a large amount of a solid light brown off type. Most of my crop was of this off type.

The last time I grew Candy I got some reversed seed coat colors and it turned out to be more than a twining bush, more like a half runner.

I grew Fort Portal Jade in 2011 from seed I bought from Richters, I gave all my seed harvested to Dan Jason Salt Spring Seeds. They varied in how dark a color the seed was, possibly the lighter from pods that weren't completely dried.

"Brauner Bar" I obtained this variety from a Seed Savers Exchange member in 2011. The bean is from Germany and interprets into English as Brown Bear. Most of my seed crop of this bean was of two off type beans. I could hold my entire "Brauner Bar" crop in the palm of one hand. This bean was also subjected to some deer nibling.

"Pebblestone" a semi runner outcrossed bean that I has not settled down yet. It produced two darker beans. Discovered this bean in "White Robin" 2012.

"Rio Zape" This bean takes considerably longer to mature it seed crop than all the other beans I grow, and even longer than some of my pole beans. It produced several handfuls of seed this year.

This bean was a segregation from a packet of outcrossed beans that I got in 2015 from Will Bonsall of Industry, Maine. I numbered all the seed packets I got from Will from WB-PKT #1 to WB-PKT #52. Then any segregations out of the beans grown in these packets got a one digit higher decimal number. So this bean has no working name but I keep track of it as WB-PKT #21.1. This bean also produced two off types this season.

"Early Victor" This is another Robert Lobitz original bean that I obtained from a SSE member in 2016. I got a few seeds to grow last year, and grew a couple of them in a flower pot and a few around one pole support. I had more seed to plant and the crop was larger this year.

"Cherokee Bean" I bought this bean from a place in Texas called Urban Harvest in 2011 before they closed the bean out of their inventory. The bean didn't produce much of a seed crop this year. I could hold them all in two hands.

"Minnsota 1940's" I bought this bean from Heritage Harvest Seeds in Canada in 2012 before they stopped shipping seeds to U.S. customers. The bean was very much subjected to deer nibling. Out of about 10 plants the deer left me one plant by the end of the season.
