2019 Little Easy Bean Network - Come And Reawaken The Thrill Of Discovery

I think what ridgerunner was saying that he got 25 different segregations form the crossed seeds that I had sent to him. That is very possible. I think he must have gotten at least 10 different outcrosses from me.

Russ, I got four bags of outcrosses from you, the Will Bonsall #27, #32, #38, and #39. It seemed like almost every plant produced a different segregation. What an adventure!

BeanQueen, you are right. Every bean on each individual plant was similar, each individual plant was its own segregation. Some of those segregations have been stable each time I planted them. Others seem to produce new segregations every time I plant them.

One very tall vine in Ugandan Bantu row has scarlet orange buds!

@Bluejay77 I am beginning to wonder if there is one oddball in the Ntingi section. I remarked one vined before the rest and it seems to be ahead of everyone in height and leaf size and also has some of the purple color to the stem that the rest do not have (like the Sweetwater outcrosses). It will be interesting to see whether or not it is a true Ntingi or if it is an outcross.
