    Are mini amaryllis common? That's the first time I've ever even heard of one.

    whatever you do, don't google amaryllis and then display all the images. there's quite a few i'd never seen before and now i want them all! and unlike those in the south i'd never have room for all of them...

    The new amaryllis cultivars has just exploded in the last few years.

    i really loved the picotee (white with just a bit of red edge to the flower) version when i first saw it, but the one you posted above i like even more. :)

    I am not planning to name it. It is just for my pleasure. I think the pros slice the bulbs to reproduce it-not taking the chance.
