Trusses are supposed to come today or tomorrow, and tomorrow I get to meet with my friend who's a kitchen designer to pick out cabinets & such! :)

Looking good! I am glad weather is not holding you up. No one can even break ground around here- it has been so darn rainy! Did you choose the cabinets?

Ah! A hip roof! From the photo, that looks a lot like my house (at that stage of construction) . . . the attached garage set back a bit, but making a straight line along the rear of the house.

Don't you just love the smell of a house being built? The wood, the cement curing, and later, the paint and drywall paste....Always exciting to me. Smells like hope.
