(have i missed anyone here? throw them under the bus too).

Well, there's such a thing as a Rock melon.

By extension, if there is a Winter Melon, is there a Spring Melon, Summer Melon and Autumn Melon? (given when you harvest and eat them Zucchini's would I guess be Spring Melons, most others would be Summer Melons, and Autumn melons would be pumpkins and squashes.)

It is funny how some people,

obviously those who have never really given it much thought,

say something about Winter Squash growing through the Winter months. But, giving them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they think that they all come from frost-free areas like Florida.
