A very common lunch/dinner/breakfast for us:

Leftover salmon from last night's dinner with garden veggies. Not shown was the chopped sweet onion, grated cheese and 5 eggs.

Two omelets!
What a healthy and delicious meal! I made an egg burrito this morning with a homemade tortilla, garden chives, cherry tomatoes, rosemary, and thyme.

Unfortunately my bread wasn't done when my oldest daughter got here so I had to put it back in the oven. The good friend of my son and daughter in law has a foster child that came in and said is the dessert done yet. I explained it, and yeah after a taste test and a look see it still wasn't done. I am going to make sure it's good to go tomorrow. My daughter and middle granddaughter liked the taste of the bread. They both surprised me by liking the dinner. Dinner was beef and broccoli mixed in the same pan. Then cook some rice and make gravy. You mix the beef and broccoli together with the gravy. Put the rice on your plate and top it with the beef, broccoli and gravy on. It's so good

Beef soup.

So simple and just about everything is from the garden, except the beef ribs. Garlic, onions, carrots, celery root, rosemary, and lemon grass. Probably should have gone for the potatoes because the celeriac is still so small. I suggested a sort of variation of borscht but DW won't go for it.

Pearled barley will go in although quinoa would be nice for a change ... if'n there isn't resistance ;).
