    A Zucchini !!!!!

    Can you ID this plant?

    looks alot like my 'pan squash' the little flat scalloped squash-yum! Some of these types of plants, gourds/squash/vine things don't like to be transplanted-I'd leave it a bit and see.

    Gazing Ball.....

    I've had one in my yard for about 10yrs-the same one. I was so afraid it would get broken-but it's lasted this long-yippee(going to find some wood to knock on) I'm not into yard ornaments-but a globe or two nicely place, adds color all year.

    Here in Indiana, Purdue university is doing a study on Black Spot, and asking all of their master gardeners to watch for it and bring in all specimens we find. I just love Purdue and the Hort. dept! We're actually hoping to find some roses black spot. :rolleyes:

    My rhodie likes a lot of morning sun then some shade through the hot mid day. I also spread pine needle type mulch on their ground once a year-that of course will depend on your PH. maybe test your soil and pay attention to the light they are getting?? A little tlc-is sure worth it for these...

    Peonies Ruined?

    Good thing they root deep-have you every tried to more a bed of them-dang! Peonies are pretty heardy plants and roots-even if winds blow them over-they're still strong plants growth wise. Good luck and I'll bet you get some next year-then after a few years even more.

    Mine spreads like crazy, just like the lemon balm. I find sprouts all over my 3 acres, and the mother plant comes back HUGE every year.
