I ordered some Green Zebra tomato plants a few weeks ago and they just arrived today via US mail (a week in transit). They look like they're giving up on living. The leaves are crispy and brittle. Is it at all possible to revive them??? (The plants actually look better in the photo.)

I like the radio idea. We also have 3 LGD's. They're only puppies right now, but will be good guardians once they're older! I hate losing livestock to predators. I'm so sorry for your loss.

My hens eat up everything. They especially loved the cucumbers during the hot summer months. I would also give them the watermelon rinds that were leftover. Bananas are extremely high on their delicacy list! :)

I have chickens for eggs and meat . . . also have some for the cuteness factor. ;) Thought about rabbits at one time, but decided against it since no one wanted to butcher a fuzzy wittle wabbit. :)
